In a nutshell
- Our 10-chapter “My First Bitcoin Diploma” introduces students to Bitcoin, providing essential knowledge on its history, technology, and potential.
- This FREE program is available in Bandung, Bali, and as an online class. We cover the key concepts from basic money principles and it’s history to Bitcoin, empowering students for the digital economy.
- The programme runs as four sessions across two weeks, twice a week. All 10 chapters are covered, and you receive your certificate at the end.
- After completing the 10-chapter course, students receive a certificate, enhancing their credentials in the growing field of digital economy and Bitcoin.

MFB Unconference 2026
On 22 August 2026 we brought the My First Bitcoin Unconference to Surabaya — the first one ever held in Asia. Around 200 people came for a full day of Bitcoin education, connection and celebration, and most of the programme was not set in advance: participants pitched their own topics in the morning and built the sessions themselves. Graduates, complete beginners, teachers and merchants ended up in the same rooms, which is exactly what an unconference is for.

Program Structure
The My First Bitcoin program is a 10-chapter journey divided into two engaging parts. The first 5 chapters focus on understanding money—its history, how it’s controlled, and the issues with unsound financial systems. The last 5 weeks dive into Bitcoin, teaching you how to use it and why it’s seen as the solution to these problems. The program is highly interactive, using games to make learning fun and engaging. With a mix of self-study, live sessions, and hands-on activities, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of both money and Bitcoin in an enjoyable and dynamic way.
Community
Join and connect with a vibrant Bitcoin community of like-minded individuals from all over Indonesia. The program gives you lots of opportunities to get to know new people, make new friends, and learn about Bitcoin.
Certification & Outlook
At the end of the diploma, you will receive a certificate for your cohort completion as your proof-of-work. You can use this to apply for Bitcoin jobs internationally and start your career.
