Bitcoin meetup Aceh: what to expect

Aceh has its own Bitcoin community covering Banda Aceh and the districts around it, including Indrapuri and Peusangan in Bireuen. Sessions are small and conversational rather than lecture-style.

Because Aceh runs its own financial rules, the questions here are more specific than elsewhere and the sessions stay strictly on how the technology works. Nobody is selling anything or telling you what to do with your money.

Bitcoin is not just an asset

Bitcoin usually gets discussed from one angle only: the price went up, the price went down. At a meetup we do the opposite. We start at what money actually is, why it loses value over time, and what it means to hold savings nobody else can freeze or inflate away.
