Overview
The LBTCL Cohort is an intermediate, hands-on experience focused on teaching students how to interact with Bitcoin Core using the command-line interface (CLI). This program covers everything from creating transactions to advanced scripting techniques. You will get a strong foundation in Bitcoin development. By using tools like such as bitcoin-cli and setting up a local bitcoind regtest node, participants will gain practical skills using terminal.
Who should join?
The cohort is geared towards bitcoiners with intermediate knowledge of Bitcoin who are looking to deepen their technical understanding. Whether you’re a developer, engineer, or just a nocoiner curious to learn how to defend agains inflation, this cohort will provide the knowledge needed to advance your bitcoiner skills. It’s especially suitable for those who want to go beyond theory and roll up their sleeves to jump into the command line.
What you need to know?
To participate, you should already be familiar with Bitcoin fundamentals and comfortable navigating Unix/Linux terminal environments. It would be good if you have already gone through Mastering Bitcoin Study Cohort, but it’s not mandatory. What’s most important is your excitement for working with the command line and learning about Bitcoin in a more technical way.
